Carlos Ghosn, the CEO of Japanese automaker Nissan, pulled in just over $10 million last year. That made him, by a wide margin, Japan’s highest-paid chief exec. In the United States, that same $10 million would barely be enough to rate Ghosn as an average-paid chief exec.
